Data Removal
Last updated: 4 August 2026
There is no account to delete
WOOF has no sign-up, no login and no server that stores anything about you. Everything the app keeps is on your own device. That means you can delete all of it yourself, immediately, without asking us.
Delete everything
Either of these erases every trace of WOOF's data permanently:
- In the app: Dog tab › gear icon › Reset app.
- Uninstall WOOF from Android Settings › Apps › WOOF › Uninstall.
This removes all saved readings, all dog profiles, and your language and theme preferences. It cannot be undone and there is no backup copy anywhere — including with us.
Delete part of it
- Journal entries: open the Journal tab and tap Clear journal. Each dog profile has its own journal.
- A dog profile: open the Dog tab, select the profile, and tap Remove this dog. Its readings are removed with it.
What about my dog's bark?
Nothing to remove. Audio is measured live in memory and discarded the moment a reading finishes — it is never written to a file and never uploaded, so no recording of your dog exists at any point.
What about the subscription?
Deleting app data does not cancel a WOOF PRO subscription, and uninstalling the app does not either. Cancel it in the Google Play app: Profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › WOOF.
Your purchase record belongs to Google, not to us. To have Google delete data associated with your Google account, use Google's own tools at myaccount.google.com.
Still want to make a request?
You are welcome to write to [email protected]. We will answer honestly — but in almost every case the truthful answer is that we hold no data about you to delete, and the steps above are the complete and final removal.
