WOOF is an entertainment app that "reads" a dog's bark. The user taps a button, holds the phone near the dog, and the app listens through the microphone. It measures the sound 50 times per second (loudness, zero-crossing rate, spectral centroid, and eight frequency bands), derives six features from the voiced portion (duration, burst count, pitch centre, pitch slope, roughness, peak level), and scores those against eight built-in mood profiles (hungry, play, alert, love, uneasy, greeting, bored, attention). The highest-scoring profile wins and a matching phrase is shown. The matching is fully deterministic — the same bark always produces the same reading; nothing is chosen at random. IMPORTANT HONESTY POINT that must appear in the legal pages: this is FOR ENTERTAINMENT ONLY. It is a reading of sound characteristics, not a scientific translation. Dogs do not have a language that can be translated. The app must never be presented as veterinary, medical, behavioural or diagnostic advice, and users must not rely on it for the health or welfare of an animal. All analysis happens on the device, in memory, in real time. Audio is NEVER recorded to a file, never stored, and never uploaded or transmitted anywhere. Only the derived numbers of a reading the user explicitly chooses to save (mood name, confidence percentage, the six measured features, and a timestamp) are written to the device's own local storage. There is no account, no login, no sign-up, no user profile on any server, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, and no tracking of any kind. Other features: a "Speak" board that synthesises six sounds live with the Web Audio API (no sound files); a local journal of saved readings; a weekly mood chart; up to five dog profiles (name, breed, age, chosen illustration — all stored only on the device); a dog-years converter; and Turkish/English interface with a light "paper" and dark "ink" theme. MONETIZATION — subscription only: WOOF PRO is a weekly auto-renewing subscription sold through Google Play Billing, product id woof_pro_weekly, priced at USD 3.99 per week (local currency varies by country), and it begins with a 3-day free trial for users who have never subscribed before. The free tier gives unlimited bark readings, the last 3 readings in the journal, and 2 of the 6 sounds. WOOF PRO unlocks the full journal history, the weekly mood chart, all six sounds, up to five dog profiles, and the dog-years converter. Payment is charged to the user's Google Play account when the free trial ends. The subscription renews weekly until cancelled in Google Play at least 24 hours before the next renewal date. Cancellation and refunds are handled entirely by Google Play — the developer cannot process refunds directly and users must manage or cancel the subscription in their Google Play account. There are no advertisements of any kind. Permissions: RECORD_AUDIO (microphone — required, this is the app's only sensor and the sound never leaves the device) and INTERNET (used ONLY for Google Play Billing and for fetching a small remote configuration file; it is never used to send audio or any personal data).
